SD Remix ISO Patch Downloads

Current Versions: 3.3 BETA

FOR ONLINE PLAY:
3.3 Slippi Rollback Compatible (BETA)

This version does not have any of the SDR Options Menu, but it is compatible with the latest Slippi’s rollback code. Also includes SD Remix stages in rotation. Unranked is not supported (use Direct Mode).

Requires the latest version of Slippi with Rollback Netcode. Follow the instructions and make sure you can play normal Melee 1.02 using Slippi.

Requires a Melee 1.02 ISO. If you have another version of SSBM, you can convert it to 1.02 using the instructions at this link.

Unzip the file below to your computer and follow the instructions in the included README.txt file.

Note: While this is a beta release, to play 1v1 matches with others online, this works so much better than other methods that we still recommend using this one.

Requires a Melee 1.02 ISO. If you have another version of SSBM, you can convert it to 1.02 using the instructions at this link.

Unzip the file below to your computer and follow the instructions in the included README.txt file.

Note: While this is a beta release, it works well enough that we already recommend it over 3.2.1.

  3. Just started playing this it’s pretty sweet. Are there plans for future updates? I noticed an issue on mount olympus against the CPU we spawn at the same position in the centre of the stage. Also how can we donate?

    • I don’t believe we accept donations, though thank you for the consideration.

There has been a 4.0 version that’s been in the works for a while (I’m not personally involved with it at the moment), and I mostly released 3.3 full as a stop gap because I was annoyed at some things while playing 3.2.1. Then of course Slippi Rollback happened, so that’s why the rollback version of SDR was made.

As far as the mount olympus issue, it is something that bothers me, but I believe 4.0 is based off of 20XX, which I believe has a better version of Mount Olympus without that problem, so it’ll probably be fixed with 4.0.

  4. been trying for hours now to find a rom for a clean version of 1.02 melee, pretty sure there isn;t a single one available as of sept 2020 on the internet which means you can’t play SD remix and it only lets you install the SDR patch over a clean version. guess i’ll never get to play it since no one will supply a pre patched version of the iso file.

    • Hmm, just tested both of them in Dolphin 5, and they both work for me. Try right clicking on the ISO in Dolphin, go to Properties, then go to the Verify tab, then click “Verify Integrity”. For SDR Full, you should get a SHA-1 of “698b895c6aee818ee1b918f99ad317d825cfcb7e”. If you don’t have that, then something likely went wrong with the patching process, likely the base ISO wasn’t correct (you can check the integrity of your 1.02 ISO as well, but doing the same thing. It should say “This is a good dump.” and have a SHA-1 of “d4e70c064cc714ba8400a849cf299dbd1aa326fc”).
